This place suits me perfectly! I love the free Wi-Fi, tv, and electric kettle. On my first stay, the staff helped me print tickets. Every breakfast is a treat and the homemade granola is awesome! I'm definitely coming back for Christmas.

Stylish accommodation with fab setting near the Mountains of Mourne, right on the edge of town, attractive well maintained gardens with a wonderful view of the Mourne mountains, yet less than a ten minute drive from the centre of Newcastle and the center of the village. Simply no complaints whatsoever, excellent stay.

Location: the hotel was so close to the garden and mountains as well as the foothills of the mournes. All the staff was really helpful and amicable, settled my issues. The room was generous-sized and practical, at least for me.

The beautiful king room was spacious with a comfy bed, en suite bathroom, and a lovely garden view. It had a tv, electric kettle, and free toiletries. The shower was great, with good pressure. Had such a relaxing stay! The views of the Mourne Mountains are fine. The homemade breakfast was next level. Patricia and John, even driving us to town. Just wish it was a bit closer to the center for easier trips in!

Idyllic retreat to unwind on the lovely balcony overlooking Tullymore Forest.

missingWrote a review on 30 Septinconvenient walkno upgrade
The 'luxurious' atmosphere totally did not compensate for the 30-minute walk to town, very inconvenient if you like to pop in and out. Plus, I was totally expecting a complimentary upgrade after all my plans went awry, but apparently, I'm just a regular guest. Almost gave this place a decent review, but couldn't find enough positives.

We stayed in a spacious apartment right by the gorgeous Mournes, perfect for our family of six. The gardens were fine, and we enjoyed relaxing afternoons outside. Breakfast with homemade goodies was a fantastic daily treat!
My kids wished for more activities specifically for children.

Fine views of the Mourne Mountains add to the experience here, and the homemade breakfast impresses, especially the bangers which are a must-try. The hosts provide a warm welcome. The 30-minute walk to the town center isn't convenient, and note that taxis are your best option for trips back and forth. The room lacked some small amenities that could have enhanced comfort.
